One of the biggest concerns patients have about Invisalign is how they will pay for it. We know that investing thousands of dollars in orthodontic care is a big deal, so we offer several ways to pay for treatment so it’s affordable and easy to get. We at Marrecau Orthodontics believe everyone should have a beautiful healthy smile and money shouldn’t be an issue when it comes to getting the care you need.

The most popular way we help people pay for their treatment is with an in-house payment plan where you pay for it over time. You don’t have to pay the full price all at once, you can make smaller payments during your treatment. Most people say this is much easier on their budget. If your treatment is $5,000 and takes 18 months, you might pay around $275 a month. We work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget.
Many of our patients like that our payment plans don’t require a credit check and don’t charge interest if you pay off your balance by the end of your treatment. This makes it easy and transparent, without the headaches that come with traditional financing. You know exactly how much you’ll pay each month and there are no extra fees or charges on top of the cost of your treatment. Early orthodontic treatment identifies bite or spacing issues before they become more complex. By starting early, we can guide jaw growth and create space for permanent teeth. Early treatment promotes a healthy, balanced smile that lasts.

We also work with specialized healthcare finance companies for patients who would rather work with other lenders. These companies have payment options for medical and dental care. They usually have longer payment terms than our in-house plans which can cut your monthly payment even more. Some patients choose this option if they want to keep paying after their treatment is done. This allows them to spread the cost over 2-3 years instead of just the treatment term.

Insurance is another part of the financing scenario. We handle all the paperwork and claims process for you if your dental insurance covers orthodontics. Most of the time your insurance payments go directly to us which reduces the amount you have to pay out of pocket. If you have insurance and are a patient in Parkland, we will figure out how much your insurance will pay for your treatment and then take that amount off your total cost to find out how much you will have to pay.

Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts are great ways to pay for Invisalign treatment. You can put money into these accounts before taxes that you can only use for medical and dental costs. Using pre-tax monies is like getting a discount on treatment because you don’t have to pay income tax on that money. If your job offers an HSA or FSA, you can plan ahead by putting enough money in it throughout the year to pay for your orthodontic work.

Some patients ask if they can use credit cards to pay for their care. Yes, we do take credit cards. If you have a card that gives you rewards points or cash back, this is a great opportunity to get something extra when you buy something big. But we don’t recommend putting the whole cost on a credit card with a high interest rate because the interest charges can add up to more than the cost of treatment. Our in-house payment plans or healthcare financing options usually have better terms.

The amount you need to put down to start treatment depends on your insurance and the payment plan you choose. Some patients want to make a bigger down payment to lower their monthly payments, while others want to keep the down payment smaller and spread the cost out more evenly. We can adjust the payment plan to fit your needs because we are flexible.

One good thing about getting orthodontic work done on credit is that you can start fixing your smile right away instead of waiting until you’ve saved up the whole cost. Your teeth start moving right away and you can make progress towards your final result while making monthly payments that are easy to budget. Many of our patients say they wish they had started treatment sooner instead of waiting.

We promise to be transparent about all financial matters. When you come to our Parkland office for a consultation, we’ll go over all the prices and financing options with you. Before you agree to treatment, you’ll know exactly how much everything will cost. We want you to be completely comfortable with the payment plan so you can focus on the changes that are coming instead of worrying about money.
